Recent children’s story picture book with autism theme.

An example of supporting people with developmental delays, is writing a book about the struggles and success experienced by autistic children.

In my new children’s story picture book, a proactive user-friendly conversation identifies and supports underrepresented voices of children with (a) developmental delays e.g. autism and (b) refugee related trauma e.g. Ukraine children adjusting to living in a new country.

Book preview – Everything And Everybody Belong Somewhere.

On their first day at school, an autistic Australian boy and an anxious Ukrainian boy, outstep their comfort zones and begin a heart-warming journey where acceptance and friendship overcomes isolation.

As this children’s fiction story picture book has Australian content, the initial (2025) language edition is English. 

A bilingual edition with English and Ukraine language translations will be published in February – March 2026.
